“Prayers Heal”, a new oil painting by Ted Ellis, pays tribute to our Surgeons and to the amazing power of prayer. “Prayers Heal” was unveiled at the Surgeons Reception of the 2006 NMA held at the African American Museum in Dallas, Texas.  “Prayers Heal” is the first in the series of paintings specifically created to honor the Physicians of the National Medical Association (NMA).
